Timnath: one clean-up day, then the rest of the year
Timnath’s town government runs a spring clean-up day for residents. For anything that misses it, households arrange their own haul, and the way trash is collected in town may soon change.
The spring clean-up
The town’s Clean Up and Appreciation Day ran on Saturday, April 25, from 8 a.m. to noon at Timnath Reservoir, for residents with proof of residency. It offered cardboard and metal recycling, wood chipping, electronics and mattress recycling for a fee, and Goodwill donations. Washers, dryers, water heaters and microwaves went in with the metal; refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners were prohibited.
The rest of the year
The town’s code enforcement page treats any accumulation of refuse on a property, built on or not, as a nuisance. Timnath’s 2026 budget sets aside $50,000 for a single-hauler trash feasibility study, so collection in town may be reorganized; for now, confirm with your own hauler what it takes.
